91大神 celebrates International Women鈥檚 Day

International Women鈥檚 Day is a time to recognise and celebrate girls and women globally. Here at the 91大神, we are proud of all our female colleagues, ambassadors, trustees and volunteers.
As an organisation, we want to provide information, training and advice to help empower all women with neurodiversity and learning differences such as dyslexia and dyscalculia.
Adelle Tracey is a talented Team GB female athlete, her triumphs include coming 4th in the 800m final during the 2018 European Championships. Alongside her amazing sporting ability, she is a dedicated 91大神 Ambassador and hopes to empower others to follow their path without barriers.
For International Women鈥檚 Day 2022, Adelle shared why she believes it is important to celebrate women living with dyslexia, 鈥淎s a dyslexic woman, dyslexia has allowed me to lean into my creativity.
鈥淚t has also made me a very resilient and determined individual. This International Women鈥檚 Day and beyond, let鈥檚 create a space to allow women and girls to flourish.鈥�
Our female BDA CEO, Gillian Ashley said, 鈥淎s women, we face many barriers and dyslexia can easily become an additional one.
鈥淲e don鈥檛 have to be chained to difficulties; Identify your strengths and what you enjoy and feel successful in. You can then develop your career from your successes.鈥�
Trustee, Suzanne Edmond who is also dyslexic, shared, "International Women鈥檚 Day is a great chance to celebrate the value of difference and #breakthebias.
鈥淲e need to create open and flexible learning and working environments where everyone is empowered to be the best they can be."
