Exciting Update: Join Our Free BDA Dyslexia Community!
Tuesday 25 March 2025
For the last 50 years, the 91´óÉñ has been the voice of dyslexic individuals, advocating for change and support. Today, we are thrilled to announce a significant step forward in making our community more inclusive. From 1st April, Individual Membership will transition into the free BDA Dyslexia Community! This means that everyone, regardless of financial situation, can join us without any cost.
If you are already signed up to receive our monthly e-newsletter, you will automatically transition into the new community, so you do not need to sign up again.
Why are We making this change?
We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to be part of our community and lend their voice to our advocacy work. By eliminating membership fees, we hope to build a stronger, more connected community, making sure that no one is left behind due to financial barriers. Where people are able, we encourage donations to support our work.
Benefits of Joining Our Free BDA Dyslexia Community:
✅ Our monthly e-newsletter with key updates
✅ The latest dyslexia-related news and developments
✅ An online newsletter three times a year
✅ Opportunities to support our campaign work
✅ Access to community events
✅ The BDA Impact Report
How You Can Help
As a charity that receives no government funding, we rely on the generosity of supporters to continue our vital work. While membership is now free, we still need your support. If you are in a position to do so, please consider making a donation to help us sustain essential services, advocacy efforts, and support for dyslexic children, young people and adults across the UK.
By donating in this way we can also accept Gift Aid, which means your donation will be worth 25% more, at no extra cost to you.
Interested in professional membership?
Our Professional Membership remains available for individuals who have completed a BDA-accredited course or are SpLD professionals.
Thank you for being part of our community. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of dyslexic individuals and work towards a more inclusive future.
